I oringinally bought a Soundstorm participantSoundstorm SD960TS 7-Inch In-Dash DVD/MP3/DC Receiver with Motorized Flip-Out Touchscreen Monitor and it broke on me in 3 days. I RMA'd it and couldn't wait so I started on the lookout for a alternative. I discovered this one and oh how happy am I that I was impatient. The image high quality used to be a hundred percent better. Better decision on the same measurement display. The entrance removable face in VERY nice for security. It does the whole lot that the Soundstorm failed to for me. And if I needed to buy further items, this player can have naigation easily added to it and a TV tuner. And for a $200 player you're going to be shocked.
The Soundstorm seemed like a $200 player and the Power Acoustic feels like a $500 participant, You will be pleased with this one.

I had to go back to the installer 6 times within the first 2 weeks, first because the first time i took the face off it wouldn't fit back on, and secondly since the reveal would get stuck and would not transfer down every time i tried to eject a cd. Every time they had to minimize away at my dash because it the unit sit downs too some distance again. It persisted to stay until ultimately on February 6, 2011, it stopped working all together. It wont even turn on. I emailed power acoustik and so they mentioned it would be a charge to repair it, even supposing it was once supposed to come with a 1 year guarantee(and yes i filled out the warranty card and sent it to them back in October).
