I do MLM for a dwelling so the Blu-Tooth phone characteristic is very important to me. The sound quality is extremely bad. You WILL NOT have the flexibility to use this to keep in touch with ANYONE! Everything else works pretty fantastic. The navigation menu is roughly gradual while you tap on one thing and this unit has freezed on me a few times.

Don't purchase Jensen! Had issues from the get go but I was actually eager about this unit. Couple of factors I don't love is that it takes some time to change songs while you hit next. It does not dim very a lot and your phone e book cannot be set with names. All in all I in point of fact like this unit.

I concur with the opposite overview that the unit is intensely vivid at night time with out a lot skill to dim. This is a pleasant unit if you occur to don't want Bluetooth phone and don't care if it can't be mounted you more than likely have an issue.
The Bluetooth microphone is the Achilles heel for this unit. It was bad from the start. The unit is simply one week previous and when speaking to anyone on the Bluetooth telephone, they could be capable to barely hear you and the sound is very tinny. It is so dangerous, that nearly every other word is unintelligible. I had the unit professionally put in and the mike put near the rear view reflect.
The case in contrast unit was sealed after more than one calls/emails to the Kenwood Service Center and to Tech Support. I have severe querys as as to whether any of these folks comprehend what they're doing. Tech Support #1 stated there's a firmware patch to repair the issue (if they knew it was once a problem, why did not they restore it earlier as I sold it at Fry's and they've a large turnover of merchandise so it used to ben't on the shelf long). Tech Support #2 mentioned they didn't have a firmware for this variation. So I talk with customer support. Customer carrier particular person #1 stated "IF" there is any firmware enhancements, I need to ship the unit back to the factory carrier center for repair and if now not, the Service Center must see if a repair is imaginable. Customer Service #2 stated since it was once so new, return it to the seller. I tried to get them to ship me a new unit with the restore, but they is no longer going to try this, too so much hassle.
So I am returning the unit to Fry's and am going to buy a unique brand. Poor customer support simply clinched the deal for a special producer.
